Common questions

My throw distances aren't logging

Flightpath measures a throw by comparing your GPS fix at the tee with your fix at the next lie, so it needs location permission set to "While Using the App" in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services. Under heavy tree canopy GPS accuracy drops — the app shows the fix accuracy so you know when to trust it.

How do the free mapping rewards work?

Fully map a course (confirm every tee and basket on the satellite walkthrough) and you earn a free month of Premium. Twelve mapped courses earns a full year. Reward time stacks and counts down only after any paid subscription time.

Restore a purchase on a new phone

Open Profile → Premium and tap "Restore purchases" at the bottom of the paywall. Subscriptions follow your Apple ID.

Cancel my subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Flightpath → Cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the paid period.

Do maps work offline?

Hole maps you've viewed are cached on your phone automatically. Open a mapped course's holes once on WiFi and they'll be there when you're out of signal.

Delete my data

Everything lives on your device — deleting the app removes all of it. There's no account to close.
