Privacy Policy
Flightpath is built local-first: your rounds, throws, discs, stats, and mapped courses live on your phone — not on our servers. We don't operate accounts, we don't run analytics or ads, and we never sell data.
What the app stores
Scorecards, throw logs, disc bag, traced flight paths, course maps you create, and app settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no copy and no way to access it.
Location
With your permission, Flightpath uses your GPS position to measure throw distances, show your live distance to the basket, compute how far away a course is, and map tees and baskets. Location is processed on your device. It is not transmitted to us, and the app does not track you in the background.
Third-party services
Mapbox — satellite hole maps are loaded from Mapbox. When tiles load, Mapbox receives standard network information (such as your IP address and the map area being viewed) under the Mapbox privacy policy.
Apple & RevenueCat — Premium subscriptions are purchased through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat, our subscription manager, receives a pseudonymous app ID and purchase receipt to validate your subscription under the RevenueCat privacy policy.
That's the complete list. No analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no data brokers.
Your choices
- Location permission is optional and can be changed anytime in iOS Settings. Core scorekeeping works without it.
- Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple ID settings.
- To erase everything, delete the app — all app data goes with it.
Children
Flightpath is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
